PLAYMONSTER’S MARBLEOCITY EXPANDS WITH NEW LARGE KIT MODEL
The Marbleocity Large Kits are a Fan Favorite of the Marble Machine Line, and Will Get First Addition Since Initial Launch
BELOIT, Wis. (February 5, 2019) — PlayMonster LLC will introduce the third large model kit of the Marbleocity® line, which joins Skate Park and Dragon Coaster models. The new kit will be revealed during North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 16 – 19 at booth #435.
Marbleocity is a line of laser-cut wooden STEM kits, and the intricate and beautiful designs of each module fit together to form a weaving and winding marble machine. Marbleocity was designed to be a satisfying building experience, and the included graphic novel teaches each kit’s STEM lesson through a cast of characters called the Tinkineers, who help children and parents understand the concepts and feel connected to the lessons.
New for 2019 will be Maelstrom Race in the large model series, featuring fun funnels that marbles will travel through, to demonstrate how a vortex works. The marbles will queue up and then race to the bottom through two votices! Like all other Marbleocity kits, this one also includes a full color comic story, to teach important STEM lessons and relate physics and engineering principles to real life.
Maelstrom Race can be easily connected to Skate Park (sold separately), which also connects to Dragon Coaster (sold separately) so marbles run through all models, and motors can also be attached for power (motors sold separately—one is needed per model). The new marble machine kit will be available in Fall of 2019. For ages 12 and up.
