Players “Break In” to Explore and Search for the Alien Ship as they Solve Puzzles and Peel Back Layers of the Expanding 3D Game

BELOIT, Wis. (January 22, 2021) — PlayMonster announces the launch of Break In™ Area 51. It’s the latest game available in the company’s successful Break In collaborative game series. This game line, which is considered a “movie in a box”, is an immersive and challenging group gameplay experience. It’s a team activity unlike any other—and it begins the moment you lift the lid off the game box. Inside, you will see a 3D shape with graphics representing the area you are trying to break into.

To escape, you must first… Break In™! In the Break In Area 51 edition of the game, players take on the role of the alien breaking into Area 51. The alien is trying to retrieve its captured ship before it’s dismantled. The added twist with this game is the alien must hurry before he gets trapped on Earth. A team of players opens the box of challenges where solving one layer reveals another. Players must uncover symbols, numbers and colors to break in to Area 51. Hidden elements will help players complete the final puzzle.

The instructions tell you to STOP and make sure everyone is ready before you begin—get your cards laid out and settle in with all the players. Read the instructions and then begin looking for clues to solve puzzles. Soon, you will be told to open the game board and unfold the first of three layers, expanding your board and revealing the next layer you have to explore to uncover clues that will lead you further inside. It’s a one-of-a-kind unboxing experience! Along the way, you’ll encounter many strange things and complete amazing challenges using clever hints and a unique solution system. The final puzzle leads you to your goal!

Break In Area 51, at a difficulty level of 3 out of 4, will be a thrill for game nights for up to 6 players, ages 12+. Once you succeed you even walk away with a momento of your achievement!
